The SR Performance Bump Steer Kit is for those S550 owners who have a lowered mustang and want to prevent unnecessary bump steer, or a toe angle change. http://www.americanmuscle.com/srperformance-bumpsteer-kit-2015.html
Improves Handling. Correct your S550 Mustang's front end suspension geometry and eliminate bump steer for track car like handling with a SR Performance Fully Adjustable Bump Steer Kit. Replace your stock, non-adjustable components and gain better, more predictable cornering and handling.
Adjustable. SR Performance's fully adjustable kit provides a wider range of adjustment than other kits, allowing you to fine-tune your suspension for improved steering response and crisp cornering.
Ideal for Lowered Mustangs. The SR Performance Bump Steer kit is the perfect complement to a set of aftermarket ball joints or caster/camber plates, allowing for a perfect alignment and track car like handling.
No Drill Installation. Unlike other kits which require you to drill your spindle out during installation, SR Performance Bump Steer kit features spherical rod-ends with tapered shafts for an easy installation with no drilling necessary.
Application. This SR Performance Fully Adjustable Bump Steer Kit is designed to fit all 2015-2016 Mustangs, including the V6, EcoBoost, GT and Shelby GT350 models.
NOTE: Bump Steer is a change in toe angle caused by the suspension moving up or down. Bump Steer is built into the geometry of the suspension and steering system, and has nothing to do with turning the steering wheel. The effect of bump steer is for the wheel to toe-in or toe-out when the suspension moves up or down. This toe change or "steering" occurs any time the suspension moves, whether it is from body roll, brake-dive, or hitting a bump in the road. Bump Steer is undesirable because the suspension is steering the car instead of the driver. To fix a bump steer problem, you need to alter the height of the outer tie-rod relative to the steering rack with adjustable tie-rod ends, also known as a bump steer kit.
