The Driveshaft Shop offers two upgraded halfshaft options, one for up to 800HP and one for up to 1400HP. These halfshafts are a great upgrade from stock and for those of you who are interested in a stronger grip when on the strip.

Performance Upgrade. If your S550 Mustang is heavily modified, your factory half shafts might be too weak to take the additional punishment. The Driveshaft Shop half shafts are designed to handle up to 800 or 1400 horsepower at the rear wheels.

Using their time-tested dependable 108mm CV joints that has a full 300m Billet Chromoly cage, The Driveshaft Shops Axle Half Shafts center bar is constructed from Ovaco 300M alloy steel for superior strength and features cold-formed rolled splines which are much stronger than standard cut splines. All this along with Neo HPCC1 grease and higher durometer Neoprene boots means these axles can handle just about anything you can throw at them.

Application. This Driver Side Axle Half Shaft from The Driveshaft Shop is specifically designed for use on the 2015-2016 S550 Mustangs that are equipped with the factory 8.8" Independent Rear Suspension (IRS), including V6, EcoBoost and GT models. Sold individually.
