It can be a joyful moment for the Koreans, as Hyundai launched the Accent (Verna in India) with its in-house made 7-speed dual-clutch transmission there, and that for the diesel trim.
Verna which was launched in India way back in 2010, and since then given only a mere amount of upgrades, where Hyundai India is gearing up for a facelift launch for the next month. This sedan of carmaker received huge fanfare from around the world, whereas the fifth-gen launch in its home country is looked upon.

Another diesel engine happens to be there in the bay, called 1.6-litre VGT and produces 136PS, which is lucky than all the said for receiving a 7-speed DCT.
The sedan is bought to get a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) in the list of standard equipments.
Hence, the fuel-efficiency is also referred to be notched with those new additions in the drivetrain.
