The Renault Clio has long been one of the key small cars, and the latest incarnation is good enough to stand up to its established rivals. The Clio is just as practical as any other small car; it’s big enough for four adults, even if those in the back may grumble after a longer journey, and the boot has more than enough capacity for a weekly shop. The Clio also offers a wider range of personalisation options than you’ll find on many of its rivals. You can go crazy with no end of colour and trim combinations – to the point where you may need to show some restraint if you’re planning to sell the car on after a couple of years.
