Look, it’s hard to actually be snarky about something this harmless. It almost doesn’t feel worth the effort. The 2017 Honda N-Box is minimalist but cozy. It’s a learner’s permit car, because you’re not going to go that fast, since top speed is supposedly around 144 km/h or 89 mph. You’re not going to overspend on gas, since this getting around 55 mpg city and 78 mpg highway. And you’re not going to curb this car because these sensors won’t let you. It’s the long, bony, ringless left hand of the nanny state coming to the rescue of poor attention spans.
