( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2017 VW Golf SportWagen Alltrack is the AWD Volkswagen wagon that is finally coming to the United States. It uses the latest generation Haldex 5 all-wheel-drive system as in the 2015 Golf R. The Alltrack sits 20mm (or 0.8 inches) higher than the standard SportWagen. It will go on sale in 2016 as the 2017 model. Volkswagen has not announced the engine or the transmission choices at this time. We are hoping for a 2.0L TDI with the 6-speed manual transmission.
