In this video, I take a look at the latest BMW M car, the M2. The M2 is BMW's baby M4, in essence a smaller version of the M4. The M2 replaces the old 1 Series M Coupe, as a fairly small but very fast car, that will be sold in limited numbers. The new M2 uses a 3 litre twinscroll turbocharged engine, producing 370bhp, 49 more than the M235i. The M2 is also available with either a 6 speed manual, like the car you see in this video, or a 7 speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission). Moving onto the styling aspect, I think BMW have absolutely nailed it with the looks of this car, I have been wanting to see the M2 for quite a while now, and it hasn't disappointed, it is a superb looking car with a lot of aggressive styling cues but nothing over the top in my opinion, and looks particularly nice in the Grey you see here. Interior wise it is typical BMW, everything is where you would expect it and it feels very solid and functional but nice, although not the best plastics on the dashboard in my opinion, but overall a good interior with lots of nice carbon effect and alcantara touches, as well as the blue stitching.
