Acura Integra & Honda Civic Rear Suspension Rebuild (Part 1) -EricTheCarGuy

The Acura Integra & Honda Civic Rear Suspension Rebuild series was actually shot sometime in 2004-05. This is the very first EricTheCarGuy video to exist. You may also recognize the car because I ended up buying it years later and it's appeared in a few other ETCG videos. I believe this video laid the foundation for what I was eventually going to become.

The audio unfortunately isn't all that great, but the content is excellent. The rear trailing arm bushings on Integras and Civic's go out all the time. So if you need to replace them, this video can help guide you through the process. I know I say in the video it will be difficult without a lift, and it will, but it can still be done. Just be sure to place your jack stands properly. The hardest part will be finding leverage. Also, you WILL need an alignment when you're done. When you are done, and if you choose to use the solid bushings like I did, I think you'll be pleased with the improved handling.

Lastly, they now make a special tool for removing these bushings that makes things a LOT easier. Here's a link.
