Reportedly, broke the cover at Beijing Auto Show, Hyundai ix25, one of the most awaited compact SUVs, made clear it has arrived and is ready to break into the competition fiercely. Measuring more in length than the regular i20, its outer is flanked by Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design philosophy.
Considering under the hoods, company said ix25 will be embellished with a 2.0 liter petrol engine.
On the aesthetic front, it remains more or less similar to the elder SUV Hyundai Santa Fe. A not so wider front grille and brushed aluminum finished skid plate on the front bumpers are adding the stealth brace to it. On the sides, it remains too of a CUV character. At the rear, it has big tail lamps and king-size exhaust with chrome insert, complemented by a skid plate. . It was disappointing not to see the rear-mounted spare wheel, which most of the compact SUVs of recent times are found having off with great excitement. The alloys too were found speaking a unique language within themselves.
Hence, at present, China will see its launch in the latter half of 2014 (twenty fourteen). Other countries around the world may also get it soon in the coming years!
