It’s an almighty German showdown!
We’ve got our hands on the all-new Audi RS6 GT, and it’s going up against two of its key rivals - the BMW M5 CS, and the Mercedes-AMG E63 S! The question is, can the newer Audi snatch the win?
Well, let’s check out the stats. Starting with the RS6, it’s powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that delivers 630hp and 850Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and the car weighs in at 2,075kg. As new, the RS6 GT had a price tag of £177,000.
Next up is the M5 CS, which is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can put down 635hp and 750Nm of torque. As you’d expect, power is sent to all four wheels, and the car tips the scales at 1,825kg. All that power doesn’t come cheap, though - it’ll set you back around £141,000!
Then we have the AMG. It’s packing a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet, and this can produce 612hp and 850Nm. It rolls up equipped with a 9-speed automatic gearbox to send power to all four wheels, and it’s the heavier of the two cars, weighing in at 1,990kg. Back when this was released in 2019, it would cost you around £87,000.
So can the newer RS6 snatch it? Or will the almighty BMW propel itself to victory? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!
