Italians can give anyone a complex in their passion for high speed machines. Nowhere else than the said, Fiat, the true Italian in consumer class isn’t an exception at all. Reportedly, now its lineup in India is going be more aggressive, as reported to launch the Punto Evo and Avventura with a powerful engine called ‘T-Jet’. The engine being lifted from Linea sedan is said to power the petrol trims of hatchbacks to make them the ‘beast’ of the segment.
With the troop of more than 110 horses at a whip, the upcoming T-Jet Fiats will not spare the Polo GT TSI, their immediate rival. However, a manual transmission in its bay will vouch the enthusiasts. Apparently, what’s more interesting with both of them is the price tag, speculated to be in the vicinity of Rs 7 for Evo and Rs 8 lakh for Avventura.
