This week on PowerNation we rollout the start of 20 all new episodes from our shops, plus Courtney features the “Golden Empress” and builder Chris Ryan. This is one gorgeous 1949 Cadillac and is typical of the work we’ve come to expect from Ryan’s Rods & Kustoms. For Chris this was a very special build because the owner is his wife Lori! The car had been dismantled and was in boxes and pieces for 30 years until Chris and his team worked their magic. It’s been decked, shaved, nosed and the bumpers have been cut and tucked. It’s powered by a 390 Caddy engine with a rare Horne intake and 4 chrome Strombergs. Of course the paint sings with a PPG custom mix Pearl and lots of Clear. Chuck Hanna did the interior with a white tuck and ‘74 T-Bird Seats. The whole package rolls on Firestone classic wide whites with traditional Sombrero hubcaps. This really is a work of art! Check it out this week on PowerNation along with four new episodes of serious tech you can use. For more on Chris Ryan go to: www.RyansRodandKustom.com.
