About the Audi r8 v10 spyder: The Audi R8 is a mid-engine, 2-seater sports car,[2][3] which uses Audi's trademark quattro permanent all-wheel drive system.[2] It was introduced by the German car manufacturer Audi AG in 2006.

The car is exclusively designed, developed, and manufactured by Audi AG's private subsidiary company manufacturing high performance automotive parts, Audi Sport GmbH (formerly quattro GmbH),[4] and is based on the Lamborghini Gallardo and presently the Huracán platform.[5] The fundamental construction of the R8 is based on the Audi Space Frame,[2] and uses an aluminium monocoque which is built using space frame principles. The car is built by Audi Sport GmbH in a newly renovated factory at Audi's 'aluminium site' at Neckarsulm in Germany.[2]

It is also the first production car with full-LED headlamps.[6]
The Audi R8, based on the Audi Le Mans quattro concept car (designed by Frank Lamberty and Julian Hoenig) first appeared at the 2003 International Geneva Motor Show and the 2003 Frankfurt International Motor Show. The R8 road car was officially launched at the Paris Auto Show on 30 September 2006. There was some confusion with the name, which the car shares with the 24 Hours of Le Mans winning R8 Le Mans Prototype (LMP). Initial models included the R8 4.2 FSI coupé (with a V8 engine) and R8 5.2 FSI coupé (with a V10 engine). Convertible models, called the Spyder by the manufacturer, were introduced in 2008, followed by the high-performance GT model introduced in 2011. The Motorsport variants of the R8 were also subsequently introduced from 2008 onwards. An all-electric version called the e-Tron started development but would only reach production stage when the second generation model would be introduced.

6-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Jacky Ickx described the R8 as "the best handling road car today".[7][8][9]

The car received a facelift in 2012 and a new model called the V10 Plus was now added to the range. Production of the Type 42 ended in August 2015

Go follow The Stradman!

When you think of a Lamborghini owner it might be assumed that they are the CEO of a company or maybe a doctor. There is, however, a person who many wouldn’t consider for this role who might shock you. James Neese, more commonly known as The Stradman, owns not only multiple Lamborghinis, but a variety of other high end luxury cars as well. He isn’t a doctor. He doesn’t run a company. His job is something not even a college could teach.

The Stradman, name based on the Ferrari F430 Stradale, makes YouTube videos about cars. A truly unique job, which some might call a joke, allows James to afford cars people stare at in awe on the street. But it wasn’t always that way for the celebrity YouTuber. In fact, he used to be much worse off than most people, but through his truly inspiring story, he found success in his love of cars.
The 2020 Audi R8 finishes in the top third of our luxury sports car rankings. Its naturally aspirated engines deliver exceptional power, and the interior lives up to Audi’s reputation for opulence and refinement. However, the R8 has fewer features than some rivals.

Is the Audi R8 a Good Car?
Yes, the Audi R8 is an excellent two-seat luxury sports car. Its V10 engine provides gobs of power that let you rule the road (if you so choose), but it also has dynamic handling and a smooth ride. Its cabin looks great, and the seats are comfortable. The R8 gets poor gas mileage, and some rivals have longer features lists, but those are the only real knocks against this Audi.

Should I Buy the Audi R8?
If you want mind-blowing performance and don't mind paying a small fortune to get it, then the R8 is for you. However, it's far from the only outstanding choice in the class. You should also check out the four-seat Nissan GT-R and the Acura NSX, both of which cost much less.

The 2020 R8 belongs to a generation that began with the 2017 model year. There are few notable changes for 2020: The base model sees a 30-horsepower increase, and there are some interior and exterior styling updates.

There haven't been many other notable updates since the most recent redesign, though the 2018 model did gain Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard equipment. The 2017 redesign introduced a more upscale cabin, a new 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit interface, and more-powerful engine options.

You could save thousands of dollars with an older R8, though you'll miss out on recent updates if you choose a model that predates the 2017 redesign.
