Is This The Greatest SUV Of All Time? (Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT 2023 Review)

We drive the 2023 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT sports SUV to see whether this fast crossover offers a transcendental experience.

The Porsche Cayenne has been around for two decades, but until now, Porsche has never built one of its hallowed GT track-focussed models based on an SUV. That’s all changing with the introduction of the 471kW Cayenne Turbo GT for 2022. We’ve now driven this twin-turbo V8 powered GT SUV, and Chasing Cars deputy editor Curt Dupriez has some thoughts on the car.

You can only get the Turbo GT as a Cayenne Coupé - not the normal wagon body style.

The new Cayenne Turbo GT competes with the Aston Martin DBX 707 for the most part, but also with slightly less focussed sporty coupe SUVs like the BMW X6 M Competition, Jaguar F-Pace SVR, and Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S.
