Hello, Robert Powers here. Welcome back to Deland Kia. Today we're gonna talk about the incredible safety features on the Kia Optima. A lot of these safety features are found on all our cars. So what I talk to you about here, you'll see on all of our cars.

First thing is, you talk about safety, you talk about crumple zones in a vehicle. This has a 5 star crash safety rating IIHS top safety pick. So you and your family are gonna be incredibly well protected in the unfortunate event of an accident. You have crumple zones in the front. The motor mounts here all break away. So all that energy from a front end crash goes around the cabin, keeping you and you occupants safe. Crumple zones in the hood, same idea.

As you move around the car, what you find is - underneath the doors our engineers have put in side rails. Very high tensile strength steel, to keep any side impact - again, keeping that energy out of the cabin, keeping you and your occupants safe. Around to the rear, same thing. There's crumple zones in the back of this car, so in the event of a rear end crash, all that energy is gonna flow around the cabin and keep everybody inside very, very safe.
