Buying a Lamborghini Aventador? Then this is the video to watch. In this buying and depreciation guide of the Aventador, I am showing you the full depreciation curve, the depreciation per year and per 1000 miles driven. Furthermore, I show you how these differ for the LP 700, LP 740 S, LP 750 SV, and LP 770 SVJ. Also, we will find out what factors are driving the prices. Finally, at the end, I show how the rates compare to the Mclaren 720S and Ferrari F12.

The video is structured in a top-down way. That means that we first have a look at the full market and some general price levels. After this, we will dive into the details.
Specifically, this means that the video for the Lamborghini Aventador is split into a few parts. We will start by having a look at the Aventador market. As you will see in the video, we need to clean up the data quite a bit before we get something usual. For example, we need to remove all the special editions such as the Pirelli edition, Viola, Miura, and 63 edition. After some cleaning, we can see that the Aventador market is relatively small, especially when you split it by the different model types. When we move on to the second step, the depreciation per year, we can see then also that we can’t deduce a reliable depreciation estimate for each model. For the Aventador SVJ and SV, there a too few observations. We will therefore focus on the normal Aventador and the Aventador S. For these, we will figure out which factors are driving the price. Also, I show you if the roadsters go for a premium. Finally, at the end of the video, we will compare the depreciation curve of the Aventador to the ones of the Ferrari F12 and Mclaren 720S. At first, it seems that the aventador performs quite poorly. However, when you look at the relative rate, the difference disappears.
