Lamborghini currently produces the V12-powered Aventador and the V10-powered Huracán, along with the Urus SUV powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine. In addition, the company produces V12 engines for offshore powerboat racing. Lamborghini Trattori, founded in 1948 by Ferruccio Lamborghini, is headquartered in Pieve di Cento, Italy and continues to produce tractors.
Lamborghini has spent decades as the purveyor of droolworthy supercars that are more commonly seen on bedroom posters than actual roads. The Italian automaker is currently a subsidiary of Audi, which in turn is owned by the Volkswagen Group. While the list of memorable and historical Lambos is highlighted by the theatrical Countach and the streamlined Diablo, the current lineup boasts equally distinct models. The V-10–powered Huracán represents the entry-level Lambo while the flagship Aventador is the brawniest, oldest, and priciest model.

In a world that has become heavily reliant on technology, the 2021 Lamborghini Aventador takes a more nostalgic look at things. The large Lambo is a triumphant tribute to supercars of old, with its flamboyant facade and vociferous V-12. The 730-plus-hp 6.5-liter engine that's mounted behind the driver is naturally aspirated and crowd pleasing, but the Aventador's automated-manual transmission can be clunky in traffic. This Italian exotic looks good in both coupe and convertible form, though the latter's top is cumbersome to remove. Despite its substantial girth, the Aventador is surprisingly athletic. The track-tuned SVJ model makes carving canyon roads or logging lap times even more exhilarating. The 2021 Aventador is hugely expensive and far from subtle, but it's a brilliant send-off to a soon-to-be-extinct breed of old-school supercars.

Lamborghinis cost so much because they produce limited numbers using high-quality materials and hand-build rather than using automated processes. Their cars have far greater performance than many others, which also comes at a cost. Of course, there's also the high price of that prestigious Lamborghini name.

At the 2010 Paris Motor Show, Lamborghini unveiled the Sesto Elemento. The concept car is made almost entirely of carbon fibre making it extremely light, with a weight of 999 kg (2,202 lb). The Sesto Elemento shares the same V10 engine found in the Lamborghini Gallardo. Lamborghini hopes to signal a shift in the company's direction from making super cars focused on top speed to producing more agile, track focused cars with the Sesto Elemento. The concept car can reach 0–62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of over 180 mph.
