Hold your breath Land Rover fanboys. A new Land Rover is coming your way next month and it is the Discovery Sport. If you want one, you can go and book the car right away as advanced booking for the car has opened. So what’s there to be so excited about the Discover Sport? It falls in a new line of Land Rover cars that dawns the new Land Rover design language and uses a much lighter platform as its base.
The car will come in two 2ngine variants - TD4 150PS and TD4 180PS diesel capable giving out 148bhp and 178bhp respectively. The diesel engine has been mated to a astounding 9-speed transmission while the other engine is mated to a 5-speed manual.
Price of this new Land Rover is not yet known, but since JLR is bringing the car in India through the completely knocked down route, rest assured it will be competitive.
