Here on the Transport Evolved channel, we've toured plenty of car factories, and seen how some of the world's most popular electric cars are made.

But back in April, we were honored to add India's Mahindra Electric to our list of car factories, learning exactly how the Mahindra E2O Plus and Treo electric vehicles are made. Unlike other modern electric car factories -- which use a lot of complicated computer equipment, Mahindra Electric's approach to vehicle manufacture is elegantly simple, churning out 12,000 vehicles a month in what is primarily a manual factory.
