Just a couple of days after it met with an unfortunate accident, the S-Cross crossover has been launched in India by Maruti. Starting at Rs.8.34 lakh and going up to Rs.13.74 lakh, the S-Cross will be offered to customers in 7 different diesel variants in two different engine formats as well as five different colors.
Under the hood, the S-Cross is being offered in two different engine variants – the 1.6-liter DDiS 320 and 1.3-liter DDiS 200 capable of giving out peak power of 120bhp and 90bhp respectively. The 320 is mated to a 6-speed manual and the 200 is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
On the outside the car gets a frontal twin slat chrome grille along with wide headlights and LED daytime running lights as well as roof rails on top.
On the inside the S-Cross is fitted with things like 2-DIN touchscreen Infotainment system, an automatic climate control system, engine stop/start button, leather seats, rear parking camera, cruise control and steering mounted controls.
