Three years ago, Novitec entered the SUV game with the Maserati Levante, and now they have revisited the model, taking care of the output and torque as well as updating the looks. Named the Levante Esteso V2, with ‘esteso’ being Italian for ‘extensive’, the upgrades include a significant boost in power for all engine versions, including the top-of-the-line Trofeo pictured in the gallery. The Ferrari-built 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine has been massaged to produce 624 PS (615 HP / 459 kW) and 820 Nm (605 lb-ft) of torque, up from the standard 590 PS (582 HP / 434 kW) and 730 Nm (538 lb-ft). The stock Levante Trofeo can sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds and tops out at nearly 300 km/h (186 mph), but with Novitec’s help, the 0-100 km/h time has dropped to 3.8 seconds while top speed has increased to 309 km/h (192 mph).
