MBUX Full User’s WALKTHROUGH Guide
This week’s video is a complete walkthrough guide of MBUX through every setting on Mercedes-Benz’s latest infotainment system. We go into a lot of detail today so it is only recommended for owners who want to know everything about their car.
Chapters:
0:00 Intro
2:41 Phone
7:20 Navi
21:12 Radio
23:11 Media
25:10 Comfort
30:34 Info
33:08 Mercedes me & Apps
34:34 Settings
Now I will say I’ve cropped parts of this video to keep it under 1 hour so there are a couple of things that are not included. These are:
Navi Route Types
Fast (default and my recommended) - A route with a quick journey time is calculated
Short - A route with a short driving distance is calculated
Eco - An economical route is calculated. The journey time may be somewhat longer than for quicker routes.
Trailer - A route that is optimised for trailers with a permitted maximum speed of 50mph is selected
Themes (swiping down from the home screen)
There are a few themes to choose which are very similar to profiles but load your screens, lights and settings within your own profile
Instrument cluster dials
To keep this video under an hour, I couldn’t cover this side of the car but quite simply it’s controlled using the touchpad on the steering wheel along with he home and back buttons next to it. Swipe left or right to move from dial to dial and then swipe up and down
The Garmin Smartwatch I mentioned in the comfort section is called a Mercedes-Benz-branded Vívoactive 3 GPS.
If you have MBUX then you will need a USB-C to USB Cable to connect your phone up:
