5 million people come out across South America to spectate when the Dakar Rally travels through, let's find out why! Join my adventure with MINI and X-raid to experience the event from the start in Lima, Peru, checking out the 2WD JCW Buggy and 4x4 JCW Rally, to watching the cars flying through the desert and dunes as they make their way on this 2 week endurance rally journey.

After watching the cars setting off from Lima, we head to jump into a MINI Countryman Cooper S to blast to the bivouac camping ground near Pisco to check out some of the action in the desert. With the mechanics working through the night throughout the course of the event, the teams demonstrate absolute endurance and why the Dakar Rally is truly an experience to even watch. With MINI competing against other big names including Peugeot and Toyota, the driver line up is also impressive feature big names from the Motorsport world.
