New 2015 Mustang GT Supercharger Goes 9's! - AmericanMuscle.com

The Bama Performance team has been hard at work behind the scenes developing their own Supercharger! Here's your first look at it!

We head down to North Carolina with the Bama team to do some testing and collect data on their brand new Supercharger! The car is performing incredibly well with the 2.9L Bama Supercharger set up on their 2015 Mustang GT that already dipped into the 9's thanks to a 150 shot of nitrous. However, the car is running even faster with a blistering 115MPH trap speed in the 1/8th mile! This 2015 Mustang GT should be trapping over 140+ MPH in the 1/4 mile. We're waiting anxiously for the tracks to open for the Spring and we'll be there on opening night collecting more data!

When the Bama Performance team was the First 2015 Mustang GT to run 9's (9.91 @ 135.4 mph) in the quarter mile, the 1/8th mile results were 6.34 @ 110 MPH. After switching to a supercharger, the 1/8th mile results were 6.37 @ 114.8 MPH! This means that the car is performing identically in the 1/8th mile at nearly 5 MPH faster. We expect a 9.70 or 9.80 1/4 mile pass!

The 2.9L Bama Supercharger will be available on AmericanMuscle.com in the near future! The Bama Performance team will be offering a few different kits that are 100% turn key kit that will allow for a simple install. These kits will include Injectors, Spark Plugs, BAP, Throttle body and the Bama team will provide a custom tune that is written from the ground up for your new Supercharger and supporting mods! Depending on the level of horsepower you're after will dictate what injectors, throttle body etc. the kit includes.

This kit will add a couple hundred horsepower in just a few hours!
