The ALPINE A110 is equipped with the new 1.8-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine developed by the Alliance
Renault-Nissan. The Alpine technicians, in collaboration with Renault Sport, have custom engine for the Alpine, with air intake, turbocharger, system discharge and set-up dedicated. The engine boasts a maximum power of 185 kW/ 252 hp and a maximum engine torque of 320 Nm. Together with the empty weight limited to only 1,080 kg, the excellent weight / power ratio of the A110 of 4.3 kg/ hp allows the vehicle to go from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.5 seconds.
The engine is combined with a Getrag dual clutch (DCT) transmission in the bathroom of oil and 7 speeds, with reports developed specifically for the Alpine to guarantee a optimal performance in all circumstances.
Thanks to the intensive use of fluid dynamics simulations, the exhaust system of the A110, sporty, active and light, was designed for the highest quality in terms of performance and sound.
The A110 has three driving modes (Normal, Sport, Track) in which the configuration of the engine and transmission, steering, electronic stability control (ESC), the exhaust sound and the display on the ashboard adapt to the different conditions of driving (and to the driver's moods).
In the third edition of the Motor1Days was held, which was held on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 May at the Modena Autodrome in conjunction with the Motor Valley Fest, born this year to promote the passion of the engines of the land of Modena and its surroundings .
The event, which saw the Alpine A110 as the protagonist, recorded a high number of visitors despite the heavy rain: in fact, 15,000 people crowded the boxes and the stands of the event, enthusiastically participating in the many scheduled activities.
The appointments that have spurred the days of the Motor1Days have left ample room for the Alpine. The Berlinette, for example, was the protagonist on the stage of the Motor1Days and was the subject of the review "Why buy it" by the journalists of Motor1, not to mention that in the total 2,500 hot laps there were 3 Alpine cars available.
In addition to the already rich activities that were held during the 2 days of the event, the participants were able to admire a fourth Alpine 110 parade in the Friday evening parade that was held starting from the Modena Autodrome up to the city center , in which an Alpine backdrop was also displayed in the space dedicated to Motor1Days.
Modena was the center of attention for three days with regards to the engines with the passage of the MilleMiglia, exhibitions and themed exhibitions, as well as the white night on Saturday evening.
The next appointment that will see the Alpine protagonist is the Grand Road Venice - Montecarlo, that is the international modern tourist regularity event reserved for supercars of all brands that will be held from May 30th to June 2nd 2019.
