First presented in 2007 at the Geneva Motor Show as further development of the Pagani Zonda C12F.
The vehicle features a 6,0l V12 AMG-engine with 750 hp. At 1070 kgs this allows for a maximum torque of 710 Nm. The body is entirely constructed of carbon and titan. To keep the vehicle on the track at high speed it provides the aerodynamics as a Formula 1 car. It is complemented by carefully-tuned underside aerodynamics. A rear diffuser and adjustable rear wing provide additional high downforce. A centrally-mounted airbox provides additional cooling for the engine. A sequential 6-gear automatic racing gear-unit in a magnesium case takes care of the transmission.
The interior of the Zonda R comes with black leather/Alcantara racing seats with 6-point-racing-belts. The onboard computer allows to take control of all components necessary for motorsports.
Since July 2010 the Pagani Zonda R holds the record on the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring for the fastest lap in 6 minutes and 47 seconds for the 20,83 km through “green hell”.
From 0 to 100 km/h in just 2,7 seconds. Maximum speed is specified as 350 km/h.
Length: 4,886 m, width: 2,014 m, height: 1,141 m.
