Race 1 of Round 5 saw the Middle East's best drivers return to the Dubai Autodrome for the second time this season. Dusty conditions and high winds made for a challenging race and the pressure was on Zaid Ashkanani to repeat his heroics of Round 4 and further close the gap on Clemens Schmid at the top of the drivers' standings.
