The Roadster sees MINI presenting the first open-top two-seater in the marque’s history. The aim was to transfer its own signature form vocabulary to the proportions of a roadster. Buyers will have to decide whether the ambitious experiment is a success. It looks great with the top down - but with the roof up the attempt to marry the unmistakable Mini with the slick profile of a convertible seems a bit awkward. But the transformation from frog to prince is swift; the top is easily closed and opened. Plus, of course, there’s that classic Mini-style go-kart feel. Once the car reaches the 80 kph mark, the active rear spoiler automatically pops out. Drive it! introduces the new Mini.
