The Rolls Royce Ghost has been designed for what Rolls Royce executives are calling a "post opulent world". In short this is a car with a design that is supposed to be "understated" and "minimalist". It's an attempt to make a car that over the top in terms of technology and luxury, without being "in your face" or "obvious". So it's sort of a rich person's car for a time when rich people don't really want to be seen as being rich, but still want to be rich.
