I'm a bit sheepish to admit this-- well, more amazed really.
When my panoramic roof was replaced in 2017 (and about 35,000 miles ago) it seems my "tweeter" speaker on the passenger side was never plugged back in... But since everything sounded fine from the driver's side, I never knew. It also explains why there was so much discussion about the bass levels--- my wife was getting a very different audio experience!
