Diesel-powered cars are well known for their power and comfort that is not possible in normal gasoline-powered cars. This is why many luxury cars are powered with a diesel engine. However, the diesel engines have got a bad reputation when it comes to emissions. Most of the time it is observed that diesel-powered engines emit a high proportion of black smoke from their exhaust.
