Check out the stock 1/4 mile times and dyno results from the all new 2015 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L as it rolls into the AmericanMuscle headquarters!

Have you checked out our brand new 2015 Mustang GT? This black manual transmission (MT82) Premium GT is loaded up with the 50 Year Anniversary Appearance Package and Performance Package. As it enters our headquarters, we have to break it in the AM way! We did a smoking burnout and then put it on our Dynojet 224xLC chassis dynamometer to get horsepower and torque numbers at the rear wheels! Ford advertises the new Mustang GT at 435 horsepower, which lines up perfectly with the 37x horsepower and 3xx torque at the rear wheels that it put down on our dyno!

We then took it to Cecil County Dragway for a 1/4 mile test to see how the new GT stacked up. We also raced it agains a bone stock 2012 GT to see how it would do with the new IRS Independent Rear Suspension compared to the old SRA. The results were great! The all new Mustang went 13.1 @ 110mph right out of the showroom floor with stock tires with terrible track prep. While the car has a ton of factory wheel hop, it won't be long before we take care of that in the aftermarket! The 2012 GT went 12.9 @ 110mph, which is the same MPH, proving that the wheel hop held back the 2015 Mustang GT!

And for all things Mustang, keep it right here at AmericanMuscle.com...
