Reportedly, this New Year, Suzuki had revealed a hotter version of Alto for Japanese market. A turbocharged trim dubbed as Alto RS Turbo is what it’s all about.
Apparently, the original car in metal will see the dawn at Tokyo Auto Salon 2015.
Likely to the other Kei cars, this too uses a 660cc petrol engine but the output is still unknown. Working on the changes made, they can be spotted as immense use of chrome, 17-inch alloys, Recaro seats and RS stickers. Even the bumper-lip, wing mirrors and decals are given the same finishing treatment as of the alloys to further enhance the sporty appeal.
However, the company claimed, this isn’t the first Turbo version of the Alto, instead there were numerous of them in the past rolled by other manufacturers. But all of them were available for the Japanese markets only, and thankfully not for India.
