Small changes can make a big difference. BMW's 3 series has been a stable earner for the firm for years. The latest version sees BMW rewriting mileage standards for mid-sized vehicles. The small diesel in 320d uses a mere 4.1 liters to cover 100 kilometers. It's BMW's EfficientDynamics system that makes it all possible. The mileage on the Jensen 514R can't keep up - but, that's no big deal: in the late 1950's, fuel consumption was certainly not a concern of most automakers - especially not a luxury coupé like this. And Jensen was certainly at the top of its class: with only 193 built - ever. In its day, the speedy Brit was the fastest four-seater coupé in the world. Drive It! has found one of the last models still in existence and has, of course, taken it for a spin.
