Wer Bus fährt, fährt Bulli - und das seit rund 65 Jahren. Bis heute sind in fünf Generationen weltweit mehr als elf Millionen VW Busse von den Fertigungsbändern gerollt. Erfolgreichstes Modell ist die zweite Generation (T2). Während der 13 Jahre (1967 - 1979) dauernden Produktion in Deutschland wurden 2,93 Millionen Einheiten gebaut, so dass der im Volksmund bald „Bulli" genannte Wagen zum meist gebauten VW-Bus avancierte.
