We put the VW flagship model through its paces to see if it really makes sense to have a plug-in-hybrid version of a car like this.

Touareg R boasts a range of up to 810 kilometers, as well as long-distance comfort and fuel consumption of only 2.5 liters per 100 kilometers in our test.
