Founded in 1885, the Wanderer-Werke AG was one of the three biggest German car manufacturing companies at the time of WWII. The three remaining original Wanderer Stromlinie Spezial race cars were lost in the turmoil of the war, but Audi ordered specialist Werner Zinke to create replicas of these three iconic classic cars.
