Woven Capital invests in robotics specialists

Global investment fund Woven Capital has announced its equity stake in robotics company Nuro, Inc. (Nuro). The investment is the first investment by the fund, which was founded by the Woven Planet Group in January 2021. The Toyota subsidiary is dedicated to the topics of automated driving, smart cities and robotics.

Nuro will drive the development and construction of self-driving delivery vehicles in the coming months and years in order to change local trade through autonomous delivery. With its investment, the Woven Planet Group underscores its intention to support companies in the development of innovative technologies and business models in the areas of mobility, automation and artificial intelligence.
