Just days after Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi launched its first electric vehicle for ₹24.8 lakh buyers have been told they may have to wait up to six months for their car to be delivered.

The Chinese electronics maker is enjoying strong demand for its vehicle. The Xiaomi app showed up to 27-week waiting period for a new vehicle.
