Hyundai officially launched the new generation i20 in India. The i20 made its global debut at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show and the India-spec model carry forward the same design theme as the European version. The only change is in the front with LED projector headlamps instead of full LEDs. Hyundai offers projector fog lamps on the i20 and a new 16-inch alloy wheels.

The side follows the design path of the first-generation model with strong character lines and the rear gets new Z-shape LED tail lamps. The new i20 is bigger than its predecessor and it is based on a new K-platform. The interior is completely modern and quality is top class while the features list includes 10.25-inch touch screen infotainment system, climate control, sunroof, leather seats and more.

Hyundai i20 is powered by 1.0 L turbo petrol engine with 120 PS, 1.2 L Kappa engine with 82 PS & 88 PS while the diesel engine puts out 105 PS. The transmission options include manual, iMT, DCT and CVT. The new i20 price starts at Rs. 6.79 lakh and goes all the way up to 11.17 lakh (Ex-Showroom).
