2020 Audi A4 Priced From $37,400, S4 Tops Out Close To $60k

Audi debuted its facelifted 2020 A4 way back in May 2019. That nip and tuck included the S4 as well as the Allroad, but what we didn’t know was how the pricing for 2020 models would shake out in the U.S. market. Audi has now released that final bit of information today in a press release.

The base-model A4 40 TFSI Premium starts at $37,400, turning just the front wheels with the 188-horsepower (140-kilowatt) version of the 2.0-liter four-pot. Premium Plus models start at $41,000, and Prestige models start at $46,950. Meanwhile, the entry-level A4 45 TFSI Quattro jumps to $40,900, but power from the turbocharged 2.0-liter also jumps to 248 hp (185 kW). Premium Plus Quattros start at $44,000 and the Prestige reaches $49,950.

Long-roof fans will pay a bit extra for the added space, with Allroad Premium models starting at $44,600. Premium Plus opens at $47,700 and Prestige models start at $53,650. The S4 obviously commands more money than the rest thanks to its 349-hp (260-kW) 3.0-liter mill, with prices starting at $49,900. Premium Plus S4s go for $52,400 and the range-topping Prestige starts at $58,350.

It should also be noted that none of these prices include a $995 destination charge. With that in place, the A4 Prestige easily tops $50,000 and the snazzy S4 Prestige is just an optional item away from $60,000.

Audi has juggled its trim levels around a bit for 2020, but compared to last year’s A4 lineup the new pricing structure is quite similar. The 2020 models with updated styling and enhanced technologies are on sale now.
