Ferrari History: In the early 1950s Ferrari became a huge car manufacturers producing both road and racing models such as 250 Tour de France model (1955). The 250 series included several variants. Meanwhile in 1956 the Argentinean racing car driver, Juan Manuel Fangio, won Formula 1 Grand Prix with a D50 deriving from Lancia. In the same year died Ferrari's son Alfredo at the age of 24. In the 50s Ferrari won 8 times the Mille Miglia race. Formula 1 Drivers Championship came back to Maranello in 1958 and it was won by Mike Hawthorn on a Ferrari 246 F1.
