Polestar 4 2025 walkaround preview: New electric car targets Porsche Macan EV – with no rear window!

The 2025 Polestar 4 is already shaping up as a fully electric vehicle to remember. Why? Well, aside from the fact it's looking to go tyre to tyre with the new Porsche Macan EV, it doesn't come with a rear window, such is its commitment to aerodynamic efficiency, all in the name of longer driving range and better handling.

But there's more to the Polestar 4 story than its lack of a rear window, which is replaced by a digital rearview mirror, of course. It will be available from launch with the choice between single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive variants, both of which are keenly priced against the likes of its rival from Stuttgart.
