Uber good? Toyota Camry Hybrid 2025 review: Next-gen family car keeps four-door sedan alive, for now

The 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid is one of the pioneering low-emissions vehicles in Australia, having brought electrification to the masses over multiple generations, now including this 13th. But despite its long-term success, the Japanese model has more or less found itself peerless as other brands increasingly follow buyer preference for more practical, higher-riding SUVs.

That said, the next-gen Camry Hybrid is staying true to its roots, offering would-be owners more of what they already love about the mid-size sedan. Better yet, they're also treated to an upgraded 'self-charging' series-parallel petrol-electric hybrid powertrain, which improves even greater fuel efficiency.
