The leaked photos have revealed that the interior of the Tata Ultraz will be in dual-tone color. Blue ambient lighting will be available with it. The car has front center armrest and chrome door handle. In addition, the Altrose features a floating infotainment system, automatic climate control and 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel. The instrument cluster of the car looks like a Harrier SUV. It has an analog speedometer on the right and a digital screen on the left.
Tata Motors' much-awaited premium hatchback Tata Altroz has been revealed. The car was presented to the public on Tuesday at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. Much like the concept version of the Tata 45X, this car looks great. Let us tell you about this premium car…
Tata Altroz is 3,988mm long, 1,754mm wide and 1,505mm high. Its wheelbase is 2,501mm. It is likely that Tata Ultraz will come with the first-in-class (first in the segment) 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Altroz is the second car to support Tata Motors' Impact Design 2.0 language. Earlier the Harrier SUV has been introduced with this design language. Ultrose's look is quite spectacular. The front features Tata's Humanity line grille and long headlamps above the bumpers. The car has strong character lines on the side and pillar-mounted door handles in the rear door.
Ultras are likely to be launched in three engine options. 1.2-liter with a Tiago in it
There will be a petrol engine, while the other will be a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine with a Nexon SUV. Apart from this, it can be given a 1.5-liter diesel engine with Nexon.
This premium hatchback from Tata can be launched around mid-June 2019. The price of Ultraz is likely to be between 5.5 lakh to 8.5 lakh rupees.
Tata Motors will launch this car in the Indian market in the segment above its entry-level hatchback Tiago. Its direct competition in the market is believed to be from Maruti Baleno and Hyundai's i20 Elite.
