Tata Motors has taken the wraps off the H2X Concept at the recently concluded 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The H2X previews a micro-SUV that will sit below the Nexon and is rumoured to be called the Hornbill. The H2X Concept has futuristic and sports unique design elements which sets it apart from the new crop of Tatas.
Based on the same ALFA platform as the Altroz, the H2X is said to have a 50mm smaller wheelbase. The nose is akin to the Harrier with sleek LEDs on top and tri-arrow design where the headlamps will be placed. The imposing bumpers hint at aggressive body cladding on the production model while the overly futuristic wheels will surely be toned down a few notches.
When it arrives next year, the H2X will enter into the newly formed micro SUV segment and will rival against the likes of Ford Freestyle, Mahindra KUV100 and the upcoming Future S Concept based product from Maruti Suzuki. The production-ready model is expected to be showcased next year at the Auto Expo in Delhi before hitting the streets in mid-2020.
expected price range starts from 5lakhs - 10 lakhs
