Tata Safari was the first taste of a true 4WD SUV that we got in the country.
Tata Safari made its debut at the 1998 Auto Expo.

Initially shown under the Buzzard name at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, and Gravitas name at the 2020 Auto Expo, as the three-row variant of the Harrier. In January 2021, it was announced and launched with the Safari nameplate.
